Moonlighter is coming to Android this year

< 1 minute read

Moonlighter is an action RPG indie game developed by Spanish indie studio Digital Sun and published by 11 Bit Studios for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 29, 2018. A Nintendo Switch version was released on November 5, 2018.

11 Bit Studios is also responsible for titles such as Beat Cop and This War of Mine, other games that are enjoyable to play.

Earlier this week, This War of Mine: Stories got a mobile release, and now, Moonlighter is also expected on mobile this year.

Moonlighter is a sort of action RPG like The Binding of Isaac or The Legend of Zelda. You will face a wide variety of battle monsters in various dungeons. You have to fight these monsters and collect a bunch of loot.

However, in Moonlighter, you also play partly as a shopkeeper who sells his wares to make a profit. You can choose to spend your profit on upgrades or on staff to do all of the hard work for you. This makes Moonlighter a kind of part action RPG, part merchant simulator.

As you play along, you will get to make friends. You can help these friends to start up businesses to grow the prospects of the community. If you help your friends, they can help you enhance your current equipment or even craft new ones.

Moonlighter will launch on Android later this year. It is generally expected to come to mobile in the summer of 2019.
