Capcom clearly couldn’t resist the temptation to hop on the card game bandwagon. The gaming giant has teamed up with GungHo to releaseTeppen (no, not Tekken), a card battler for Android and iOS that revolves around better-known characters from Street FighterDevil May CryDarkstalkers and other classics.

There seems to be some sort of storyline in solo play surrounding these characters as well. The gameplay feels quicker than games like Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering as it gives you less time to make decisions.

Characters are voiced and have unique ability and attributes. Ryu can do seven damage to a select card, while Chun-Li can provide extra shields.

Here are the playable characters and series they belong to:

  • Street Fighter: Ryu, Chun-Li
  • Monster Hunter: Rathalos, Nergigante
  • Mega Man X: X
  • Darkstalkers: Morrigan Aensland
  • Devil May Cry: Dante
  • Resident Evil: Albert Wesker

The developers have promised that there will be more characters added to the game later. You can get the game on Google Play
