One of the most popular games in the world now is about to make the leap to mobile. Dota Auto Chess has tens of thousands of players on Steam, but now developer Drodo Studio is prepping to expand it to a new audience.

Big Drodo Studio said they will coöperate with Imba TV and Long Mobile Limited to give a fair platform for global players to enjoy the game.  Although the mobile version of Auto Chess will be outside of a Dota background, it will keep the classic game mechanism and reward old players for binding Steam accounts to their new accounts.  Auto Chess Mobile will support both iOS and Android systems, and it also will allow global players to play together. At the time of writing, the number of pre-registrations has exceeded 95k.

Dota Auto Chess tasks players with collecting a squad of powerful units and then taking them online to battle on a chess board. It uses the heroes from Dota 2, but many of their abilities are different. The orginal game is a 4-on-4 battle with other players, but the action is largely automated based on the makeup of your team.

We will keep you up to date developments as they come.
